The other day I found I had to disable my Sygate firewall in order to send e-mails with attachments. Now I find I have to disable it again to send an e-mail to a resort in Cabo San Lucas we plan to visit in two weeks. I can disable the firewall to send those rare e-mails, but what if I get a response (expected) from Cabo - will the firewall disallow it? Is there a way to loosen up the controls on the firewall and still be protected? I've tried ZA firewall and had lots of problems - slow, etc.
I run XP Home with SP2, AVG, and the Sygate free firewall. I have disabled the SP2 firewall.
Thanks -
