Zone Alarm window said ALUSchedulerSvc.exe, Automatic LiveUpdate Scheduler Service is trying to access the internet. It said the Destination IP ws 72.5.230.170 which belongs to Adchemy, a digital marketing technology company. I am concerned that this is a bad thing. AluScheduler is supposed to belong to Symantec; part of Norton Antivirus.

I did some research on the Symantec site and found info about Trojan.Syginre that says the trojan copies itself as numerous files to the root of the drive where the threat was originally excuted. One of the files is AluScheduler.exe. Also says the Trojan modifies the numerous registry entries so that it runs every time Windows starts; one of the registry entries listed is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\"AluScheduler" = "\AluScheduler.exe"

I searched and found only one AluSchedulerSvc.exe file,
    "C:\Program Files\Symantec\LiveUpdate\AluSchedulerSvc.exe", 98 kb, last modified 3/4/10.

I'm running Windows 2000 Pro; Zone Alarm, Norton Antivirus, AdWatch.

Can anyone tell me if my system is in trouble?
