I've got a server running Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition. Problem is that the virus definitions are stuck on 09-08-2004 release. I tried to do Live Update and Intelligent Updater. Both say that it's updating the definitions, but when I check, the date still says 09-08-2004. All other computers running Antivirus Corp were successfully updated to definitions dated 09-19-2004.

    All your help is appreciated.

    Hi DustySlider,

Did you check the expiration date of the Symantec licence on the server ?
I experienced the same problem when my anti-virus went 'game over'.

I have just finished to browse the Symantec's site. Nothing about the upgrade, they only explain how LiveUpdate and Intelligent Updater are working.
Maybe you need to feedback your problem to the company.

after a manual update you need to exit and then open to see the date change.

    did you try rebooting?

    which version?

at work the server does/gets the updates, can't do it at individual workstations cuz it's greyed out.

lu usually comes on wed unless something ugly comes up.
