Symantec Shared Application Error

Norton Anti-Virus 2006
Each time I close or restart my comp, I get a message saying ccApp.exe is not responding and I have to wait for windows to close it or I can click on end now.

Is there anyway I can fix it so I don't get that message again WITHOUT deleting Norton.
