Hi a friend of mine used the pc and said he started getting lots of windows opening at once and messages pinging up re virus heat/virus ranger and something about chkdsk. I have run the chkdsk and it went on and on for ever but sorted some stuff (not sure what). However when I am now on my pc I have a red flashing cross in the task bar and a yellow flashing exclamation mark the messages associated with these are as follows:

System Alert:Trojen - [email protected]

Type: Spywear/Trojan
Vulnerable: Windows 95/98 (then names all pc makes)
Description: Spyware programme that sends confidential information to a remote attacker
Protection: Click this baloon to download official security sofwear

Critical System Warning

Your system is probably infected with the latest version of Spyware.Cyberlog.X

Type: Spyware
Infection Length: 266.129 bytes
Risk: High
Systems Affected (as before)
Behaviour: Spyware Cyberlog.X is a spyware programme that monitors user activity, logs keystrokes and tracks web sites visited.
Systems: Low internet connection speeds, low system performance, security centre alerts, strange pop up in windows
Protection: Click ok to download antispyware softwear.

Now I have not clicked on anything as I don't know if its a trap. I do have NAV on my pc and keep live updates up to date so I do not know how this has happened, but would really appreciate any help.

Thanks
