System Clock blocks Outlook

    I own Office XP Professional 2002. I purchased the software about 5 years ago. It has always installed correctly on prior computers that were XP based.

    I just purchased a Dell laptop running Vista x64. I loaded the Office XP software and was immediately prompted to "activate" it, which I did. All functions (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) work except Outlook.

    When I open Outlook, I get a window that opens and says that my system clock is incorrect. It provides a link to "correct" the clock. The clock is not incorrect. But I go through the process. It says the problem has been corrected. I am to exit and reopen, which I do. And get the SAME ERROR WINDOW OPEN AGAIN!!

    Any ideas as to how to correct. I really need and use Outlook.

    it would appear office 2002 is not compatable with vista - specifically issues with outlook
