My system is operating extremely slow. The hardware was checked and said to operating correctly. THe system was scanned for viruses and confirmed okay. When I look in the task manger under the processes tab it shows the "system" is operating at ~99%. When I look at my laptop with the same system it shows "system idle process" as operating at ~99%.

    Please help.

    Thanks in advance.

Open task manager, click PROCESSES, click the CPU button, and then see what is running high CPU -- system idle process is NORMAL.
