I have been having a problem with Soldier of Fortune 2. During the opening 'movie' (after choosing "new game"), the system would freeze, and the sound card would produce a high pitched tone. The only thing I could do was reset the system.

The Manuel suggested that I move my sound card out of the first PCI slot, sine it can sometimes cause a conflict with an AGP graphics card. I moved the sound card into slot five, and I managed to get through the entire opening movie.

I still run into this problem occasionally during game-play however, and I don't know what's causing it.

    Any suggestions?

Just curious, have you updated your SB Audigy drivers?
