system hangs on shutdown

    it also acts sluggish, did a repair cycle on boot only to show only the blue blank loading screen after that ended, and now seems to be needing to go into task manager to switch between any programs. right now it seems to be unable to do anything on the bottom bar with all my main programs I use on it. it is now giving error messages saying that there is not enough memory.

    I did a system restore to the restore point just before the second half of the latest windows update that fixed many of the problems but a few still remain, mostly the mouse being super sensitive and either highlighting everything or clicking way too fast. at this point I am just not certain that I put the restore far enough back.
