Many thanks for your help in removing my name from thePC system Properties, with your regedit instructions.
This worked to remove my name as the owner in the properties, but my name STILL shows up under the Microsoft System Information area, when I go into my C drive & check system information.
Please advise how I can remove my name/&/or modify the name to the person's I am giving my computer to.

Look in the right pane for username

this is the name used for cookies and you or logoff too.
If you are giving the computer to someone, you have a lot of information in your registry. It would be a good idea to do a search for your name and remove all instances. Also any cookies and pwl files with your name.
