system monitor (sysmon.exe)

Howdy Ya'll
I just need to ask a dumb question.
Is there anyone that can tell me how to "unhide" the title bar in the system monitor utility in win98?
It also seems to have disabled closing it from the task bar.
It just did this "all by itself" and no-one has any idea how.

what happens if you go to accessories, system tools and restart the app, does it show up and run

I tried to restart it and the computer.
The only way to close the program is with "ctrl+alt+del"
I ran a utility to record what is created or modified when something is installed,
then removed and reinstalled it. Nothing useful.
I tried "alt+f" to access the file menu.
I think there is an "ini" file or something similar.
Maybe a call in the registry but I can't find anything.
That's why I am here seeking knowledge from wiser souls.
