System Notification Sound + NOD32 Solution

    Sorry if this is posted elsewhere or was resolved. I couldn't find any current threads via the search that made this connection.

    I also use NOD32 but my computer starting making sounds within the past few days instead of earlier this year. The solution I've found so far is to go into the advanced setup > User Interface > Effects > uncheck Use sound signal. I too wasn't interested in just turning off the sound.

    I've been testing my computer: opening Firefox, facebook forums and what not. Nothing is triggering NOD32 to make another sound. Before I found this thread, it was driving me nuts that I couldn't find anything in the Process Explorer that gave me any clues.
