    Hi Guys

I was wondering which of the following processes are needed and which are not necessery. I have attached a screen shot

My laptop is a vaio laptop so some might be Vaio software running in the backgroud. Also for the tasks that are not needed how do I remove them from task manager so they do not run on start up.

Does anyone know ways on improving general system performance?

    Thanks in advance

You can go to start/run/MSCONFIG and click on the startup tab. De-select everything except antivirus/spyware programs and restart. Also a good cleaning of temp files and possibly defraggmenting your hard drive might help speed things up.. Some system specs would be helpful.
