ive decided that because of some problems with my computer, that i should use the system recovery to wipe the system and start from scratch. i can put all of the files i want to save on a cd and afterwards ill just spend an hour or so reinstalling a few programs. but do you think this is a good idea? is there anything that im missing when it comes to using the system recovery? ive done it for one system before but that was an older computer and as far as i know it returns the system to the initial state with all of the facory installed programs and settings, right?. thanks

    Hi sdogg45,
I have had to do the same on my own PC. Should not be a problem.
