    Win XP.

Whilst accessing System Restore(Safe Mode) in System Config: Utility,I Selected Diag.Start Up-Launch System Restore, after looking in System,Win &Boot Inis(I may have inadvertantly selected something there).
When I accessed System Restore,I was informed I had NO Restore Points. However,I previously had some in this month.
I endeavoured to go back to go back to December 03 but failed.

Have I lost my Restore points for good, please?

If you ever disable System Restore, all your Restore Points are lost. This is by design-if you ever need to remove a virus or trojan, they can't hide in System Restore to avoid removal. I would suggest you go to your System Volume Information folder and see if any Restore Points show up there.

I think you cannot. But you never know someone else may know of a trick to recover them.
