Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum and I'm hopeful that you guys are be able to provide me some help for my system.

It all started a few days ago when my computer was attacked by a virus. The virus was a nasty one, it removed many of my files, made the internet inaccessible, and pretty much everything that a virus does. I ran a antimalware program and removed the virus, but it didn't work. So I did a system restore, however, things are sorta worse.

The problem is that many of my programs keep crashing. I'm incapable of opening things such as Skype, pc games such as WoW, and many other programs without it crashing immediately. Even firefox is crashing. I've updated my hardrive (I believe), did Windows Update, did a Disk Defrag, Disk Cleanup, another Virus Scan, you name it, I probably did it. However the problem still persists! Can somebody please help me!
