    Hi astrodaddy

What is Ad-Aware telling you about those files?

If it is telling you they are infected, you can disable System Restore, Reboot, then create a new restore point.

This link will give you the steps to enable or disable System Restore for Windows ME.
    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPOR...sf&view=docid&dtype=&prod=&ver=&osv=&osv_lvl=

Let us know what Ad-Aware is telling you if it is not referring to infected files.
Otherwise, let us know if this solved the problem or not.

Okay, I put a check in the Disable System Restore box, hit apply then close and restarted my com. Now its telling me it cannot create a save point at this time and to restart my com and try again. But I keep getting the same result. And yes, Ad-Aware is reporting these files as infected.

You have to re-enable System Restore before you can create a restore point (which it might do automatically).
