Good day everyone. Today accidentally I've deleted some files which I really need to have. I've tried some recovery programs like recuva, etc. but it havent found those files. So I thought I should do system recovery. Last backup was done on Jan. 30, anyways, I decided to continue. And it just got stuck on 0%, till after 30-40 minutes I decided to turn off the pc. (hdd lights werent flashing at all!). When I boot up the computer (took some time to) I got a window that something went wrong and I should undo. I've did it, and looks like everything is okay. But really? Is turning off pc while doing system restore isnt harmful? (I've turned it off by holding power button for 5secs.). And can I try doing it again, and if so, if i
ts stucks again, can I turn it off again? Btw, Im on phone atm. Thanks in advance.

I don't think it is harmful. Keyword is think. I'm pretty sure it will just discard the restore, and revert back to how the system was before you tried doing the restore. You said you have deleted some files. What kind of files? Program files? Data files? Os files? Data files cannot be restored through system restore, if that is what you are trying to do.

Game server files, so there's no way to get them back?

Game server files as in program files? If they are program files, then with a system restore they will come back. I'm assuming that they are program files, so they can be restored. I would restore to the point just before these files were deleted. If no restore point was created right before these files were deleted, you can go back farther, but the farther you go back, the greater the difference between how your system is now and how it was before.

Have you tried the system restore again? If not, I would give it a try. If it fails again, I might try a different restore point. If it is still not letting you restore to a restore point after that, let me know.
