I have a Compaq Presario 7940 600 mhz 256 meg computer with 4 USB slots. I hang a Corex Card reader, Dymo label printer, Palm sync and web cam in those four slots. After installing new Cox.net software, I lost connection to the label printer and the Palm sync. In trying to get them back up, I removed the comm ports and let Device Manager find them with refresh. Then I started getting "Found new Hardware" box. Sometimes it says it has found a USB-232 interface controller, other times it just identifies it as a USB controller. Whatever it is, I can't find a driver to load it and have not been able to connect to the label printer. Haven't checked the card reader come to think of it. And on latest reboot, I got a message saying Palm Hot Sync couldn't find Comm port 3.

Just another wonderful day in plug, pray (grrr) grit teeth land. Any and all help will be most graciously appreciated.
