    Hello!

I have a problem when i try to install

different software on my PC like Emagic Logicfun!

The program i try to install thinks i have an older system then

    Win 95.

I run Win 2000 pro so i really shouldn't have a problem running

    these programs should i !?

When i installed Win 2000 i did not make a clean installation from Win 98,
i just installed the Win 2000 CD and installed it over the old Win 98 system maybe thats the problem!? I am new to PCs I've been running Mac OS computers for several years
and have never had these kinds of problems before!
I wanted to reformat the harddisc before
the installation but I'm not sure how to do it!

I would appreciate any help you could give me!

    Hiya and welcome

Which version of LogicFun do you have? Its just that it may not be compatable with Win2000. As 2000 is a buisness OS, many are not compatable. I found that out. :(

Most say Win98 on the main page.

Blimey, just looked at updates. Its for Win 3.x !!

    Ah, now here's something:

    This is the english page:

    German:

    Hiya

If you open the zip up, there is 5 files in there. One of them is a HTML, a web page. Reading it, it has this.

If you have an existing copy of EMI 2|6, then you have to update this driver. If, however, you don't you can add it in there.

I can't find it on my system, but you'd better check yours by going to Find Files and Folders, and by typing it in. I'm on 2000 as well.

Hmmm, its strange, as it says

WAIT!!, scrap that idea. Its for something else:

    http://www.emagic.de/english/products/hardware/emi26.html

Back to the beginning. Can you tell me the full version you have?

You may as well delete the zip that you downloaded.

    Regards
