system32.exe problem

    Everytime I start up my computer I get the message : "Windows cannot find C:\WINDOWS\system32\system32.exe" I have downloaded Hijack this and ran it. this is what was scanned :

    That's quite funny, because i don't have a file named system32.exe anywhere on my system.
    Run Housecall and see what it comes up with.

    Your antivirus has deleted the viral file but not repaired the registry.

    Just check and "fix" these entries in the HijackThis Scanlog:

    F0 - system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\system32.exe
    F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\system32.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [SystemSAS] system32.exe

    These can go too, close all browser windows before clicking "fix checked"
