Can anyone tell me how to get ".exe" file extension back? I've already posted HJT and both DDS logs in another post, but I'm including them in this one also.

I'm restating a problem that at least 3 of us on here have, with no replies to any of us. While it has only been four days since my original post, a girl with the same problem posted it almost two weeks ago with no replies yet.
Please don't be offended by that! That statement was not meant to be critical of you good folks on here who help us (the ignorant and dummies) I have the utmost respect and appreciation for each and every one of you, I simply mean it looks like this is new malware that no one has any experience on how to get rid of it yet. HOWEVER, I'm not SURE but I think AVG2011 already got the malware and quaranteened it. I see it in the "Virus Vault". But please see the hjt log included below to be sure. If so, I need to fix the damage it did.

Everytime I go to Control panel and try to open an app. I get an error message that says:

    "C:\WINDOWS\System32\rundll32.exe"
    "APPLICATION NOT FOUND"

I checked Windows\ system32\rundll32 for "rundll32.exe" ...it is indeed NOT THERE.

On my desktop when I double click on an app to open it I get: "What would you like to open this folder with?" Followed by a list of apps to choose from.

In my original post titled: "REAL NASTY Trojan..." which I marked "SOLVED" so no one else will waste their time reading it.) I didn't yet realize what the problem was.
I think I do NOW. The file type ".exe" seems to be GONE. I clicked on "Tools"/"Folder Options"/"File Type" Then I scrolled down to the "E's" where ".exe" would be, but it's not listed. Shouldn't it be? But then being one of the aforementioned "ignorant and dummies" I don't know if it even SHOULD BE! I just know none of my apps "execute"! :D

Did I mention only one account name was affected? The other two have no problem. Of course the one affected was the MAIN account used. The one where EVERYTHING needed is stored.:)

If I've done something wrong, please forgive me and tell me how to correct it.
If I've offended anyone, I appoligize and assure you it was not intentional.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
