Does anyone know how to connect a computer thru an ethernet cable to a T1 line with no router? I have only dealt with routers and a person has asked for help to do this.

    Should give more info.

I'm pretty sure that just like with dial-up, DSL or cable, you use an appropriate modem. For T1 that would be a T1 modem.

Typically a T1 will use a router. However, have you tied plugging directly into the T1 line at the D-Mark??

T1 is a TDM circuit, you need a CSU/DSU handle V.35 signalling for you. Unless you can find a DS1 PCI card for your system, your SOL.

Adtran does make a DSU that supports bridging (non routed) TDM interfaces. Of course, routers can do this too.

    Just install a router.
