I have used tabbed browsing for a long time and when I open IE then click on new link or a favorite it would automatically open all of them in another tab where I would have multible tabs open.

Now I have to either do the Ctrl+ or click the scroll wheel to end up with multible tabs open.

I haven't changed anything and can find nothing to answer this.

Have you tried going to IE/Tools/Internet Options/click on Setting to the right of the Tabs section and see if you can change it to your liking?

    Happy New Year

I have looked through most of that and can't seem to change anything that works.

I can get tab browsing to work with some clicks but not like it was until today which was
the windows would open in tabs soon as I clicked on them.

I guess I will work on it next year.:D

Not next year but you could try retracing the steps above except you go to advanced:

IE/Tools/Internet Options/Advanced and then click on the Reset button, close down your Browser and see if this works.

That seems a little drastic for my problem but I appreciate the input.
