I had a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 until yesterday and it was stolen. How do I disable anyone from buying things on Google Play?

Go to the settings in your Google Play account, and cancel the device. You also need to change your Google account password right away. Otherwise, whoever stole it will still be able to access all your content.

Did you install a program like Lookout that can remotely wipe and lock the device?

EDIT: You may still be able to install a program to it that will wipe it and lock it. I'll need to search for it though.

Now that you mention it, I do remember I can do some of that kind of thing; but, how do I target that particular device for installation of that kind of program. I've looked into my account and I don't see anything that specifies a device. I have an android phone and I don't want disable it.

I would like to delete/wipe the tablet if possible.

Well, I've already changed the password but nothing else. Is it still possible?

It's a tablet and does not have GPS (if that matters).

I haven't found anything that allows installation after you lose it. I thought I had read about a product, but I'm not finding any information. It's unlikely to work on a non-cellular device and especially after changing your password. You should go ahead and delete it from your Google Play account.

If you have an Android phone, you should check into Lookout now and install it. Then you can remotely locate or wipe the phone if it's ever lost or stolen.

Thanks, I'll be looking into that now.
