Hello everyone. I googled my problem and this site came up with some good answer. Someone pointed out that each problem is unique, no matter how similar they may be, so I started a new thread. I cannot access the taskmanager through CTRL + ALT + Delete, nor can I access it with Start > Run > taskmgr.exe When I attempted to access task manager through Run, it said that the system administrator had disabled the task manager. Problem is, I'm the system administrator. So this is most likely a virus. To save some time I have already run hijackthis.
-Thanks in advance.

Is this a school computer?

In a manner, yes. My college leases them en masse. However I have full admin access, and I had always had control of the task manager before.

I'm just wondering if they have an IT department to look after the computers as they might not appreciate us changing any settings.

Im going to wipe it clean when Im done with it anyway, but Im pretty sure that they wont care as long as the system doesn't get messed up. Its basically mine until the end of the year.

I don't see any malware but do see entries that suggest there are restrictions in place and that you don't have access to everything so I'm hesitant to work on this computer. I see other logs from this college on-line and they all have similar restrictions. I'm going to have to say that you should check with the college IT department and that we cannot assist here unfortunately.
