In Windows Task Manager - Processes, how do I distinguish ligitimate programs from illigitimate?
There are 35 processes running and I would like to screen them for bogus software.
    Thanks in advance!!

What I would do is "GOOGLE" each item. That way you will learn what is 'legit and what maybe bad.
35 seems a bit high, I am sure that there is some spyware running.
The other thing to do is post the log file from Hijackthis and see what others can tell you.
My computer runs between 24 - 29 processes.
