Hi guys, need your help!
When I open several applications or browser windows, the icons for these windows do not appear on the taskbar at the bottom of my screen. The only way to see what programs I have running or be able to switch between them is to use the "Alt-Tab" keys- How do I restore these program icons to the bottom of my screen?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Weirdo,

Are you sure you haven't dragged the toolbar out of sight, so to speak?

Grab all dividers you see down there and experiment a little, dragging them to and fro. Maybe it's disappeared behind another toolbar.

Good luck,

Dear Tony,

Do you have a Taskbar? But it is empty. Does systray show on the right?

Let's see if possibly the taskbar is corrupt. I am not sure if this will help. Go to start>run and type regedit. Press enter.
Navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StuckRects

Highlight Stuckrects in the left pane right click on it and delete.
Reboot. Windows will create a new taskbar.

Navigating in the registry is the same as in windows Explorer. Click the plus signs until you reach the final destination.
