The taskbar which is usually situated at the bottom of the desktop has moved some how so that the start button is now at the top right hand corner of the screen and when clicked it works normally as in all items and programs listed go down the screen.

How do I move it back to the normal way bottom left, I have tried dragging etc but only goes so far and stops? I wonder and hope there is a simple solution to this minor problem, thank you.

PS I don't know what was being done at the time as it is not my computer.

Don't give up the dragging idea. Keep dragging until you get to the bottom and the bar will appear. For some reason, the bar "disappears" after a short distance -- but it's still being dragged.
