Hi,

I have a client-server application that communicates via a TCP socket on port 10000. It works perfectly for most of the users, but sometimes I get complaints from people who cannot connect to the server. I recommend them to check their firewalls, but even completely disabling them doesn't help in some cases. I thought that maybe the router doesn't forward the port, but my own router doesn't have any rules for port 10000 and the application works just great. What else could block the communication? Is there anything general I could suggest to all users without knowing much about their systems?

Thank you in advance.
