Can you control what a unknown person (known from forum) does on you computer in a TeamViewer session and avoid, if necessary, that the person does anything you do not want?

I assume you can watch on the screen, what the user does on you computer and if the user does anything malicious you can e.g. break the connection.

Yes, you can break the connection. No, you can't control what they do when they have full control over your computer.

Why are you allowing a stranger to control your computer that you don't trust?

    Thank you.

I consider to allow, because there are some problems with jDownloader, caused by it or by my system and there does not seem to be another way to solve these problems.

    Could I restrict the access?

But, if they do anything I do not want, can' t I just close TeamViewer or anything else?

    unplug the ethernet cord.

Why on earth would you let someone you don't know or trust into your rig? NOT a good idea.

If you're suggesting that someone from TSG has approached you to do this, it's against our site rules because it's much too risky. Reference, this section of the rules:

Well, to solve the problems I am not able to solve, alas.

No no, don't worry, it is a forum concerning jDownloader.

But, okay, I understand, I shouldn't give an unknown or not well known person remote access to my computer.

    Many thanks for helping.
