Techguy Forum in slow motion

Hi..about a day and a half ago everything went to heck as far as the forum is concerned. it takes me 3 to 5 minutes to get anywhere on the forum...it was about 10 minutes to get to this part to post this message...anyone out there had similar problems
the last couple days? Running 98SE, 320 RAM, dial up connection.
Went to other web sites and other forums and they worked great.
Thanks alot.. really enjoy your forum....PS . just before this started , downloaded V6 Adaware plus. I'm sure that has nothing
to do with it, but thats the only thing thats changed. Thanks again

There appears to have been a few teething problems with Adaware 6.0 - so I wouldn't rule it out - unlikely but not impossible

Thanks Steamwiz for the quick reply. i was doing errands. had
ad-aware plus quite awhile but dropped it for spybot. when they
emailed me about V6 decided to try it again. it downloaded ok
and everything worked ok...they must have had the kinks out of
by then..going to keep spybot however...would it be wise to uninstall adaware & see if that cures my problem.? just about ready to try anything...surely like this forum. thanks Dub
