i need to delete my temporary internet files before i want to see the updates apple movie trailers website. and i've just upgraded to windows xp and i can't find anything on the temporary internet files folder to delete. but i know its somewhere b/c i can't get to the updated apple page.

the folder is in a weird place:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

i'm really not used to that. so if anyone can help me delete my temporary internet files, it would help my life.

thanx.

You can also configure IE to cache as little as possible. I often see it set to 400+ megs!

Go to Tools / Internet Options
Click on the Settings button
Slide the bar for Amount of disk space so use as far to the left as possible.

You can also set IE to delete the cache when it exits
Tools / Internet Options
Click on the Advanced button
Towards the bottom should be a checkbox to empty the Temporary Internet files when the browser is closed.

So now you've set it to never get that large and empy when you exit.
