Hello all, I've had this thing on my computer for about 2 weeks now.
I've ran my anti-virus(Kaspersky) - and it will give me the file name and saying it cannot be removed - I've located the file to my Windows/system32 folder and it's labled

Opnkhaxu.dll ( Readme only, author - s13x ) and it was created april 25th (2008) ( and thats when the problems arrived )

I can't use Mozilla or opera with this virus on my computer, I have to use internet explorer, and even then I can't use Google/yahoo, any search program of any sorts, I've tried (Unlocker.exe) to unlock the file and try and delete it but it's seem to of latched itself onto some important windows file and my computer gives me a warning that a vital component has been closed and needs to restart.

I've looked around but I can't find hijack this to give you guys a log, a link would be very helpful, I saw a link in another board but the hijackthis has been moved and I can't google to find it now. any help would be very appreciated on how to get rid of this thing.

Thanks in Advance for anyone who looks into my problem.

Oh, and any time I use my browser I get popups on anything I click, and sometimes it gives me chain popups and I have to cntrl+alt+delete Iexplorer.exe before it gets too bad.

And sorry if this is the wrong board for this.

Please click Here to download HijackThis to your desktop.

Click the Download button. When the Trend Micro HJT install box appears, double click on the HJTInstall.exe. Click on Install.

It will be installed by default here: C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis

A shortcut to the application will also be placed on your Desktop.

The program will open automatically after installation.

You can double-click the icon that was placed on the Desktop to run subsequent HijackThis scans or you can use the icon inside the folder. The folder HijackThis is where you will find the HJT logs that you save. When you use the application to remove anything, you will also find the backup copies made by HJT inside this folder.

Close all other windows except HijackThis.

Click on "Do a system scan and save logfile" When the log pops up in Notepad, copy and paste that file back here.

Do NOT have HijackThis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

Hey, thanks for the link, but I was browsing around the forums last night, and another person had my problem. The virus was "Virtumonde" bogs your comp down and what not, I downloaded that Malwarebytes anti-malware program, and it got rid of all those virtumonde trojans on my computer, everything is running smooth again.
