Ok, so I've finally decided on the GeforceFX 5700LE. After doing a bunch of research and such, there is only one thing that concerns me, power requirement. The last time I opened my computer, my power supply said "Max 280W." From this I assume it can only give off 280W. I found on a website the minimum requirement for the 5700LE is 250W but another said 300W.

So now I'm confused. Here is what my computer is running

    Matsonic Motherboard MS8157E
    AMD Athlon XP 2000+ 1.67Ghz
    Western Digital 40GB hard drive
    Floppy Drive
    LG CD-RW 52x24x52
    256MB RAM PC2700 DIMM1
    512MB RAM PC3200 DIMM2
    Onboard Video card
    Onboard Sound card
    Onboard ethernet card

I don't know if my AGP slot specs are needed but just in case

    - single cycle 128-bit 3D architecture
    - 128-bit 2D graphic engine
    - 8/16/32 MB frame buffer using system memory
    - supports AGP 4X 266Mhz mode up to 1GB/s bandwidth
    - supports 250Mhz RAMDAC
    - 2D/3D resolutions up to 1920x1440
    - supports APG Rev. 2.0 Spec. Compliant

So will the card be able to run on my computer?

I think recommended is 300W or higher. I would go for a higher PSU to be safe.
