In my Outlook Express I can't open Attachments that are sent to me, when I click on them I get a message that read: The command failed to execute. Can you help ?

    what other information you need.
This machine is running Widows XP SP2, and Outlook 6.
this issue started hapening, 3 days before the intial posting of this thread, and actually when i went back to old e-mails that have the same type of attachements and that i was able to open in the past, they wouldn't open and i get the same error. i'm not sure what's causing it?
let me know if you need more info

    thanks.

Does the problem occur with all types of attachments or just some? Does it happen everytime, or just intermittantly?

Has the Temporary Internet Folder been flushed? (Internet Options > General page). Has it been moved from it's normal location? Select "settings" to determine where it is.

Does the problem occur in more than one User Account?

    Are attachments "unblocked"?

I don't use OE myself, so I can offer only limited support here.
