Well, I recently got a new computer deciding to give my CPU to my mother. Well after going through and deleting my files off the computer... It wouldnt restart! So i decided jus to reinstall windows to get it to work. I forced windows setup to go ahead and install but it talks about this one "compresion" file. My harddrive is not compressed what so ever so i have no clue what its talking about. I tried to go through the windows directory from dos but that would take forever. So i beg of you people to help me get this computer to boot-up once again. I'm so confused if you need more info tell me..
Im reinstalling 98

This is what i read off the screen,
Your computer may have a disk compression program installed on it. Because this system may contain an existing operating system or data, setup cannot continue.

thanks, marty
