    OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1, 64 bit
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2310M CPU @ 2.10GHz, Intel64 Family 6 Model 42 Stepping 7
    Processor Count: 4
    RAM: 6051 Mb
    Graphics Card: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family, -1262 Mb
    Hard Drives: C: Total - 595378 MB, Free - 543286 MB;
    Motherboard: Dell Inc., 034W60
    Antivirus: Norton 360, Updated and Enabled

    While attempting to open QuickBooks the following error message appears:
    The file you specified cannot be opened. Make sure that it is not currently being
    used by another program or a read-only file. The Windows error was "The file exits'
    By clicking on CANCEL about 20 times, the next message is if I want the program to update.
    When I click the UPDATE button - the above message again appears. I again click on the
    CANCEL button another 20plus times, the message again appears about updating the program.
    If I click CANCEL then I am able to open Quickbooks to do payroll.
