My mom uses an AOL email. The Gmail client on her Android cell phone insists I am using an incorrect address or password, which I know I am not. I have even changed the password twice via a desktop web browser on aol.com. I have attempted to use other email clients, and I'm getting the same problem.

I am able to login just fine on aol.com, yet not via any email clients.

I haven't used AOL in years, but does AOL use two factor authentication? If so, you may need to create a second 'secret' password.
