Well i recently got a router off a firned .. it hasnt got a name its only got " wireless-G router" on the front, ive googled this nd comes up with basicly nothing, the only other thing is the serial number which comes up nothing aswell....

well.. after i pluigged it in one of the lan ports on the back of my pc the "network unplugged" icon went off for about 4 seconds then came back on... then went off.. but it keps doing it, But im still able to acces the internet when i plug my dsl modem in to it, but when i try to acces the router it self i cant beacuse i dont knoo how to..

ive loooked on other sites and theyve said theres a certain gate way adress for it but ive checked them all,

ive tried to do the "cmd" thing, were you supposedly can get it from there but i cant.

Im honestly out of ideas and any help would be greatfull

Start, Run, CMD, OK to open a command prompt:
(For Vista type CMD in the Search box after Start)

    Type the following command:

    IPCONFIG

The Gateway is your router's LAN IP address--the address you type into a web browser to access its web like configuration pages.
