I liked the jet being open that morning with pretty blue sky.

Lordy! the guts of an F-86! Awesome!
I built a model of that when I was a kid!!

The blue sky and the blue jet seems as one in your shot, both meant to be in the air (y)

(except for the guts part, not evident in my model ;)

    Here's an odd tie-in...

Michael Dorn (Worf of Star Trek Next Generation) bought an F-86...

    Love the Saber.............

It killed quite a few pilots until they figured out that one small bolt was installed upside down in the aileron
and it had a habit of jamming it at times.

Guy, that is interesting. The Sabre flew over really fast and low at the Champion show.

I've always liked that aircraft. Brings back a lot of childhood memories.

One was here during our airshow a few years ago and it put on a very impressive display. I managed to get
a bunch of shots in crappy light. Some of them even show the speed brakes deployed.

As far as the bolt issue I remember reading a book on the F-86 when I was a kid.
You can't stop someone that's plane crazy. lol
