    HI,

    I'm getting this stupid error when trying to view: Control Panel\System and Security\System

    "The page failed to load"

    Don't know if you need it but I added a HJT log...

    I believe so, When I go to Control Panel\User Accounts and Family Safety\User Accounts It says under my username "Administrator"

    Can you create new user with admin rights and see if the problem persists for the new user

    What happens if you hold down the Windows logo key and tap Pause Break key

    If you have the W7 disk....you can put it in the CD drive...then go Start>>All Programs>>Accessories...right click Command Prompt choose run as Administrator........in Command prompt type

    sfc /scannow click Enter key........there is a space between sfc an /

    When did you notice this happening and can you access everything else?

    I would install an AV you can use any one in my Sig and update it and do a full scan

    I can access all the other places , it is just this one that I can't.

    I will download an AV and run a scan ASAP.
