I have 2 computers connected with a linksys router. Both computers are win xp pro and both share a printer. The printer is connected to the main computer with a parallel cable connection. The 2ndary computer accesses the printer through printer sharing. The main computer (the one that is directly connected to the printer) prints just fine. The 2ndary computer doesn't print at all. I went to "Printers" and it shows that it's the primary printer and that it's ready.

Any idea on what's going on?

On the main computer that the printer is connected to, go to control panel, printers, then right click on the printer, sharing.......is it set up as a 'share as' ?

And is it installed on the second computer....can you see it in network neighborhood on that main computer, and if so, what happens when you double click on it........
