I need a list that has the family name, then the first names, how many were invited, how many are attending etc. I wanted to merge the family name cells and be able to sort the chart but that does not seem possible. Any recommendations????

Hi MarthaLouise, and welcome to TSG.

Are you looking for a suggestion for some software to do this or do you all ready have the software and need help to use it to do what you want?

FWiW, it sounds like you should be able to do what you want with Microsoft Excel.

As you can see I would like to sort by List, then Last Name, then First Name & Guests. That way people with different names in the same household etc. will remain together. But if I merge "last name" cells nothing sorts, and if I use the List format I am not allowed to merge. What would you do?

List Last Name First Name & Guests Title Inv. #Inv #Att BS Bach Hotel P Lodell Satar Mr. 1 Lily Mrs. 1 1 Naseem + 1 Ms. 2 1 1 P Schnabel Rich Mr. 1 Caitlin Leblon Ms. 1 P Monin Ryan Mr. 1 Chrissy Fiore Ms. 1
