This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effort on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. I have win 7 and ie 8. I have tried almost everything. The only corrections I found is for win xp and vista.:(

What are you doing when you get this error? Be more specific with this issue.

Are you the administrator on the pc?
Or is it a standard/limited account.
Try running outlook as an admin
Right click on outlook and select run as admin

Sorry again.

Do you mean "restrictions in effect" rather than "restrictions in effort" ?

It usually means there is a group policy setting is preventing it. Did you run gpedit.msc or Administrative Tools/Local Security Policy, to set up some restrictions?

Which version of Win 7 do you have? Gpedit and Local Security Policy is only available on Professional and above versions.
