I don't know who told you to "stick to the same thread", but if it was a mod
i'm sure they did it for a reason.
There are lot's of people active in this forum at any given time.
If people doesn't follow the rules it would all be a mess.
If you posted a request that hasn't been answered, there's a good chance you
didn't give enough details for people to be able to help you in the first place.
There's nothing more irritating than people hijacking other peoples posts.
It makes the thread difficult to read and reply.
It's much better if you open your own thread instead.

No need to be rude Freeze.
Don't shoot yourself in the foot. Count five and listen to advice given.

I have been a member of this site since 2001 and yours is the first criticism of the site I have seen, you will NOT find a better site of this type anywhere on the Internet ....
Below is a copy of the rules that you dont seem to have read ....

Multiple Postings - It is simply not acceptable to post your question more than once, or to post it in more than one forum. Choose the forum that your question or post best fits in, and place it there and only there. If, after posting, you feel it should be in another forum, use the "Report Thread" button at the bottom of the post and we'll move it. We also reserve the right to move posts to other forums and delete duplicates.

I have gone through all your posts and you got help from Cheeseball81 and cybertech, two of the best helpers on this site and in the last post you were given a link to download an anti-virus (AVG) that was on the 26/6/05,you never replied to that .....

you were told to keep in one theread and not make multiple threads about the same problem

EVERY forum has the same rules as they are just common sense and the only way to deal with a problem

We just cannot jump from theread to thread replying to the same thing and causing confusion with 3 or 4 people all trying to help and duplicating the work

I think your attitude stinks

If you are not happy then go somewhere else and pay for the help

This is the first bad word I have ever heard about this site.. Do you honestly think that if moderators let people make many posts all over the board about the same thing it would make the forum better? It would be a big mess - as would any board.

People here help you for free, it's not like anyone here gets paid if we give you advice or help with a problem. The moderators do a great job of keeping the board tidy, so please give people the respect they deserve.

I have nothing bad to say about this site, it's the best support site I've ever come across because everyone helps each other. No one here get's paid for offering the advice and support they give, and certainly Flrman1 and Cookiegal (and a ton of others) give up a considerable amout of their time to help other people. they also have jobs to do, most people who do the major work on this site have full time jobs. So if your going to critisise, make it Constructive critisisim. "I feel that the site would look better in red and black" is constructive, "The colour scheme sucks" is not. (just in case, I think the colour scheme of the site is fine!)

Just a humorous suggestion to the mods, perhaps this thread should be reposted in Civilized Debate :D

Haha Stoner, it would be a bit more suitable!
Since this isn't civilised debate, do we still have to be civilised?

That would be fun! :D ;)

As to "How many pancakes does it take to build a doghouse?"
The answer is directly proportional too how hungry the dog is at construction time! :p

Pass the syrup please!

Take care

Hi All,
As a relatively new and very lowly member of this group I would recommend it unreservedly. On the two occasions I have needed to seek help, the last time being only last week, it has always been timely, professional and given more importantly given freely.

Thank you one and all (y)

Freeze,
FOLLOW,LEAD OR GET OUT OF THE WAY!

In your HJT thread you never stated your problem, you never responded as to what you did per advice given, nor did you follow some of the advice given. Then you posted other problems. We're not mind readers! You got what you deserved!

Maybe you should try another site as we don't have the time to deal with those who can't follow simple rules and show some respect to those trying to help!
YET YOU COMPLAIN????

You listed your experience as "intermediate"????????

Good luck, as you will need it.

There's no need to start "multiple" threads if your question remains unanswered/unsolved. Ever heard of :: bump :: ??
