Hi everyone
I can't get rid of " this system is shutting down ". Tied of rebooting my pc...
Yes I know, some bad virus....
I can't get rid of " svchost.exe " in my " processes " ( windows task manager )
I went to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ but still got problem.
Ideas anyone?

I think svchost is a Windows XP loader program. It loads essential services for Windows, however, there is a virus that infects it too, I think the way to catch it is to see where it is starting from.

Does sound like blaster. You can get stinger.exe here:
http://vil.nai.com/vil/averttools.asp#stinger
it will fit on a floppy if you can't get access to the internet. You can run it in safe mode also.

Then once you have it fixed get to the Microsoft update site and get your device updated with all of the critical patches.
