Welcome to the board. When you say thumbnails, are you talking about viewing files in Explorer in thumbnail mode or are you referring to the icons in Explorer that designate what type of file it is, just to the left of the filename?

Viewing in the thumbnail mode........like when I try to see a .jpg or .gif ,all I see is the Explorer icon centered in the blue frame that shoud have tiny picture in it.[ .bmp files show up just fine]
AND when just viewing the folder as web page......clicking ONCE on a file no longer causes a preview thumbnail to appear in the left hand frame  Two seperate actions with same results NO tiny PICTURE. I can open the files.......... .no problem.I just have to open each and every one every time I want to see what it is........BIG problem.
