How can I make my photoshop thumbnails that are in my folders show a mini preview of the picture. Right now they show the little feather, trademark of the software. My jpegs though do show the preview of the photo, and I want the same thing for my photoshop files. What can I do to achieve this?
    Thanks to all

You can't. Adobe removed that functionality when CS came out.

There may be a utility that does that but it would slow down your computer, otherwise you can't. Just organize you files and name them well.

You can use the Thumbnail browser in the freeware Image Viewer n Editor Irfanview ...
    http://www.irfanview.com/
It'll show the thumbs of Photoshop files and won't slow you down any.

I suggest you replace M$ Image n Fax viewer with Irfanveiw as your systems default viewer.
    That's how I do it.

    BTW ...
You can also set Irfanview so that you can tell it open in "External Editor", from the viewed Image ....
And it will open the picture (any picture) in Photoshop.
You only need to download the small Irfanview program (~ 1mb) ... and not the "all Plugins"
It's a clean install and uninstall .. try it.

Picasa will also show psd thumbnails.

However; for both progs to work you need to have maximise compatibility checked in PS preferences (this will increase file sizes considerably).
