time/date

after I set the time and date in xp,when I reboot or restart, thetime and date are all wrong again!whatl I do?

Welcome to TSG....

Replace the CMOS battery it is almost dead. It is a little round one that looks like a quarter. Becareful removing it that you do not break the battery holder clicp and make sure the computer is off when replacing it.
